OK, I know this is weird to write about, but I have to tell you something.
Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center’s thrift shop is having a baby shower for orphaned and injured baby animals and adult animals. They are located at: 3141 walnut boulder! In the next few months, they ask for the following supplies:(Note: They are one of our donation helping centers)
During the months of February, March and April, Greenwood will be collecting supplies in preparation for the hundreds of baby birds and small mammals that will soon be coming our way. Donations needed include:
FOOD
Baby cereal (whole grain)
Bird seed (finch, safflower and wild mixes)
Canned dog, cat, puppy and kitten food
Fresh and frozen vegetables & berries
Fresh fruit (berries, apples, cherries)
Fruit, poultry baby food
Ground meat
Puppy & dog biscuits
Purina Cat Chow (blue bag)
Purina Kitten Chow (yellow bag)
Probiocin
MISC
Batteries (any size)
Bleach
Copier paper (8.5×11)
Dog food bowls
Feather dusters
Full spectrum light bulbs
Green branches (aspen, cottonwood, juniper, pine)
Latex and nitrile gloves (all sizes)
Paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper
Timothy hay
Trash bags (large, heavy duty)
Nutrical
Donations are tax deductible and can be dropped off at the Center seven days a week between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. They can also be taken to the Greenwood Gift and Thrift Store (3141 Walnut in Boulder next to Casa Alvarez) between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
Gently used household goods and clothing are also gratefully accepted at the store, with all proceeds going to help the sick and injured animals. Thank you for your support of Greenwood and the animals!
